Recently, the Board of Directors completed recruitment for Ngurrara’s General Manager (GM) position, which is our primary operational Executive.
The GM directly oversees Ngurrara’s operations and projects and is also the conduit to our Managing Director in implementing our strategy and ensuring that our processes are being adhered to in all areas of our business.
We are pleased to introduce Tracey Dhu, as the Ngurrara GM. Tracey is an operational leader with over 18 years’ experience in the mining and resources industry in a diverse range of operational and strategic roles.
A proud Banjyma woman from the Western Australian Pilbara region, Tracey has a passion for Indigenous empowerment, advancement, and autonomy, and is dedicated and driven to making a difference for Indigenous people to thrive through advocacy, representation, and in elevating Indigenous voices.
Tracey is an experienced frontline manager, with an extensive background in people management, project management, risk and change management, stakeholder engagement, compliance and logistics, training and development and continuous improvement.
Tracey was most recently a Principal in BHP’s Indigenous Workforce Strategy and Development Department and has also served as Chairperson of the Banjyma Aboriginal Corporation.
Tracey is a strategic thinker that applies her technical capabilities and a holistic view to problem solving, using her effective communication, and influencing skills to build and manage collaborative relationships across all levels of business to deliver sustainable outcomes and results.
The Board believes that the GM will achieve positive outcomes for Ngurrara and is pivotal to Ngurrara continuing to work toward achieving our Mission and Vision and upholding our Values.
